Effective January 04, 2006 the Grand Island Town Clerks office will accept applications for Passports.

According to legislation (www.travel.state.gov) it will be required for all residents traveling within the Western Hemisphere to carry a passport or other accepted documents beginning January 1, 2008.
Residents will not be required to have an appointment, however the acceptance hours in the Town Clerk’s office will be:

Monday – Friday

9:00am – 12:00p.m.

1:00pm – 4:00p.m.

If an appointment is necessary, residents may contact the Town Clerk.

The Town Clerk’s office has all the necessary paperwork, and will process passport photos for a $7/set fee.
