Attention Island “Turkey Day” Football Players

The Parks and Recreation Department has announced that

temporary football fields will be set up at the following locations for

for your Thanksgiving Day football games:

Kaegebein School – outfield of softball diamond #3 (by the church)

Sidway School – North of the school and playground

Veterans Park – North practice field (parking lot 6)   

Each location will be marked with orange cones and supplied

with players benches, picnic table and trash cans

We appreciate the enthusiasm you have for the game and the day –

in order to maintain safe ground conditions for the Spring

sports and to protect the Fall maintenance preparations the Department

has already put forth – we ask that you restrict your

pick-up games to these designated playing areas only.
