A regular meeting of the Town Board of Grand Island, New York was held at the Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Rd., Grand Island, NY at 8:00 PM on the 20th of June 2005.

July 4th Fireworks

A motion was made by Councilman Robillard, seconded by Councilwoman Cooke to authorize the Supervisor to sign a contract with Skylighters of WNY for the 4th of July fireworks.  The contract has been reviewed by the Town Attorney and the required certificate of insurance has been received.

A motion was made by Councilman Crawford, seconded by Councilwoman Cooke to authorize the Code Enforcement Officer to issue a permit for the public display of the 4th of July fireworks at Martins Fantasy Island, 2400 Grand Island Blvd. with a rain date of July 5th 2005.

Authorize Supervisor to Sign Paperwork – 2005 Summer Youth Program

A motion was made by Councilwoman Cooke, seconded by Councilman Robillard to authorize the Supervisor to sign the paperwork with the Workforce Corp. of Buffalo & Erie County for the Summer Youth Program.
