Notice of Public Hearing

Local Law Intro #4 of 2010

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Grand Island Town Board will hold a public hearing at 8 p.m. on May 17, 2010, at Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, New York, to consider and possibly adopt a local law to revise to Chapter 49 of the Town Code, Zoning, as follows: (a) revise Section 49-170 to reduce the maximum allowable height of a boathouse from 18 feet to 16 feet above the mean high water level; (b) to add a definition of “Campground” under for purposes of such Chapter; and (c) to add “fire stations” as permitted uses in all zoning districts.  At that time, all interested members of the public shall be heard.  Full copies of the proposed Local Law are available for inspection in the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, New York.
