PROPOSED LOCAL LAW INTRO #3 OF 2010 CREATING

BUSINESS INVESTMENT EXEMPTIONS UNDER

NEW YORK REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW § 485-B

            PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Grand Island will hold a public hearing at 8:00 p.m., on March 15, 2010, at Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, New York 14072 for the purposes of considering and possibly approving a local law creating Business Investment Exemption from town taxes pursuant to the authority of New York Real Property Tax Law § 485-b.  The proposed law sets the amount of exemption and established what investments are eligible.  Copies of the local law are available for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk at 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, New York 14072.  At the time and place stated above, all members of the public shall be heard.
