AMENDING THE TOWN ZONING CODE BY TO CREATE A MINING OVERLAY DISTRICT
ON THE YENSAN PROPERTY, FIRST AVENUE AT SIXTH STREET
Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Grand Island shall hold a public hearing at 8:00 PM on September 21, 2009 at Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, New York, 14072, for the purposes of considering and possibly adopting a local law amending the Town Zoning Code by creating a Mining Overlay Zone on the Yensan Property, First Avenue at Sixth Street, covering 2.7 acres proposed for a pond on the approximately 33 acre parcel. Copies of the application are available at the Office of the Town Clerk at the above address. At the time and place above, all members of the public shall be heard.
