NOTICE
Notice
is hereby given that pursuant to a Resolution of the Town Board of the Town of
Grand Island, Erie County, New York, sealed Proposals will be received, and
considered by the Town Board on March 18, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. Local Time at the
Town Hall for the furnishing of
Ferrous Chloride for Grand Island Wastewater Treatment, Town of Grand Island,
New York.
The Proposals will be received in accordance with the Specifications prepared by the Town Engineering Department all of which are on file with the Town Clerk at her office in the Town Hall, Grand Island, New York, where same maybe examined during the usual business hours.
Copies
of said Specifications may be obtained at the office of the Town Clerk, Town of
Grand Island, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, New York, 14072, on or after
March 6, 2009 between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and
5:00 P.M.
The
Town of Grand Island reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any
informalities, or to make an award to the lowest responsible Bidder.
No
Bidder may withdraw his Bid within forty-five days after the date set for the
opening thereof, but may withdraw same at any time prior to the scheduled time
for the opening of Bids.
Each
Bid Proposal must be submitted in the complete bound Specification Booklet Form,
enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Town of Grand Island.
On the outside of the envelope clearly label “Wastewater– Ferrous
Chloride” and indicate name and address of Bidder.
Proposals not meeting the above format will be unacceptable.
