LEGAL NOTICE
Notice
is hereby given that sealed Proposals will be received, and considered by the
Town Board of the Town of Grand Island, Erie County, New York, on July 16, 2008
at 10:00 A.M. Local Time at the Town Hall for the furnishing of two (2)
Progressive Cavity Pumps, Motors and Controllers to replace existing equipment.
Equipment is to be delivered F.O.B. to the Town of Grand Island
Wastewater Treatment Facility, 3500 Baseline Road, Grand Island, Erie County,
New York, 14072.
The
Proposals will be received in accordance with the Specifications prepared by the
Town Engineering Department of which are on file with the Town Clerk at her
office in the Town Hall, Grand Island, New York, where same may be examined
during the usual business hours.
Copies
of said Specifications may be obtained at the office of the Town Clerk, Town of
Grand Island, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, New York, 14072, on or after
June 27, 2008, between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
The
Town of Grand Island reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any
informalities, or to make an award to the lowest responsible Bidder.
Each
Bid Proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Town of
Grand Island. On the outside of the
envelope clearly label "Progressive Cavity Sewer Pumps” and indicate name
and address of Bidder. Proposals
not meeting the above format will be unacceptable.
