NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING
RESTORE NY COMMUNITIES INITIATIVE

                        NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Grand Island will hold a public hearing at 8:00 p.m., on September 4, 2007 at Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, New York, regarding an application for the second round of Restore New York funding for the necessary restoration (including demolition or reconstruction) of the Dunlop Building, a +/-74,000 square foot building on +/- 27 acres of property at 2761 Long Road, Grand Island, New York.

                        At said time and place the Town Board will consider whether the proposed project is consistent with the existing local or regional plan; whether the proposed financing is appropriate for the specific facility or project; whether the project facilitates effective and efficient use of existing and future public resources so as to promote economic development and preservation of community resources; and to the extent applicable, whether the project develops and enhances infrastructure and/or other facilities in a manner that will attract, create and sustain employment opportunities.  At the time and place stated above, all interested members of the public shall be heard.
