NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PROPOSED ADOPTION OF

CHAPTER 6-A OF THE TOWN OF GRAND ISLAND TOWN CODE

CONCERNING TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF TOWN STREETS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Grand Island will hold a public hearing at 8:00 p.m., on August 21, 2006, in Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, New York to consider and possibly enact a local law regarding the temporary blocking of Town streets in connection with block parties and similar neighborhood events. Copies of the proposed local law can be reviewed at Town Hall in the office of the Town Clerk. At the time and place stated above, all interested members of the public shall be heard.
