NEW BUSINESS:

 

1)    2560 East River Rd. – Duncan Smith

 A height variance has been requested to approve an existing pergola over a deck on the waterfront with a height of 8’. Section 49 – 27(C) 4 of the Town Code limits the height of accessory structures on shoreline lots to 4’, therefore a 4’ height variance would be needed.

 

2)    2500 East River Rd. – Frank Del Signore

A height variance has been requested to approve an existing pergola over a deck on the waterfront with a height of 8’-6”. Section 49 – 27(C) 4 of the Town Code limits the height of accessory structures on shoreline lots to 4’, therefore a 4’-6” height variance would be needed.

 

3)    2095 Baseline Rd. – Dr. Lepenven

A size variance is being requested for a ground-mounted business sign with an overall height of 8’ and an overall length of 12’. Section 49 – 15 2.2.4C of the Zoning code allows for a maximum height of 6’ and maximum length of 6’, therefore a height variance of 2’ and length variance of 6’ would be needed.  

 

 

 

 

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

 

1) West River Road – Nixon Peabody LLP

A variance from the Zoning Ordinance was requested for the construction of a telecommunication tower on Russell & Patricia Colosi’s property on West River Road.  Item remains tabled pending receipt of the SEQR report from the Town Board.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2) 2770 Long Road – Verizon Wireless

A variance from the Zoning Ordinance was requested for the construction of a telecommunication facility.  POSTPONED VIA VERIZON WIRELESS REQUEST.

 

3) 2555 Grand Island Boulevard – Michael Jordan with Redtek Development LLC – Proposed is the construction of senior housing units with building walls greater than 160’ in length.  Per Mr. Jordan’s request, the item is tabled until further notice.

Upcoming SEQR Trainings (Nov. 18 & 19) – In November, the Erie County Environmental Management Council and the Erie County Dept. of Environment & Planning are cosponsoring 2 training sessions on SEQR. One will be held at ECC South (Wed., 11/18) and the other at ECC North (Thurs., 11/19) from 7PM – 9PM. Event details and registration info. will be coming soon.
